ThemeMatic is a desktop software application for creating search-engine friendly websites quickly and easily so you can get top search-engine ranking by following correct linking structure.

How does ThemeMatic work?

Google and the other search engines try to display the most relevant search results for a given search term by ranking sites that have a tight 'theme relevance' across a site and/or pages of a site.  Keywords that appear on a page of a site that are synonyms of the main keyword for a site page strengthen the theme relevance of that page.

Additionally, linking pages in a certain way that prevents 'theme bleeding' keeps a tight focus between pages that are linked together, strengthening the theme relevance.  Theme bleeding is caused by pages of a site linking to other web pages in a way that dilutes the theme relevance of the site or pages of a site.

Using a keyword research tool like 'ThemeZoom' to discover these synonyms and find other 'Long-Tail Keywords' and 'Expert  Verbiage' allows you to create content for your site pages that keeps a tight relevance on a page or group of pages on a site.  This means Google and the other search engines 'see' your page or site as being tightly focused on the theme a person searching the internet is looking for.

ThemeMatic creates a site that links pages in the way that prevents 'theme bleeding' while enabling the creation of tightly focused groups of pages linked together properly to strengthen the 'theme relevance' of your site.  These groups of pages properly linked are called 'Silos'.

Simply put, a 'silo' is a group of pages with content that strengthens theme relevance, linked in a linear way to reinforce the theme.

Theoretically, you could manually create a web site that has pages linked together to create this 'silo' structure.  However, creating your site with ThemeMatic is much faster and easier.

See the following diagram to see how silos and page linking should be done to prevent theme bleeding and strengthen theme relevance:

Figure 1

As you can see in Figure 1 above, a Theme (what your website is about) has multiple Silos (sub-categories), each with multiple pages (here referred to as Articles, but these pages can be any kind of web page with theme relevant content) that are vertically linked.

This linking structure, where the home page of a site (represented by the Theme box at the top) is linked to multiple Silos (sub-categories or 'mini-sites'), and each Silo links to the first Article page in a series of Articles, which in turn links to another Article page, etc. in a linear fashion, strengthens the overall theme of the web site and appears as an authority site to Google and the other search engines.
