*Note:  You can create a virtually unlimited number of Custom Tokens in ThemeMatic.  Your Custom Tokens will be available for use with any Theme.  It is a good idea to name your Custom Tokens in a way that identifies them as specific to a certain Theme if you do not plan on using them with all Themes.

For example, if you have a Theme 'Coffee Pods' and plan on using a Custom Token ONLY with this Theme, you may want to name the Custom Token something like 'Coffee Pod - Token1' to more easily identify it later. 

You can name your Custom Tokens anything you want, but you must begin and end your Custom Token with '%%'.

1) Click the 'Custom Tokens' tab and then click the 'New Token' button to create a new Custom Token:

You can delete Custom Tokens by clicking the button on that row.

2) Name your token (see the Note above for a helpful tip on naming Custom Tokens) - you must begin and end your Custom Token name with '%%':

3) After naming your Custom Token, paste or type the 'Token Contents' in the box to the right:

*Special Note about Custom Token Contents:  You can enter ANY text in the 'Token Contents' field.  This means you can include server-side scripting code (like PHP, ASP, ColdFusion), client-side scripting code (like Javascript), HTML code, or just plain text.  The only limitation is that the Token Contents must be TEXT ONLY (no images or external files of any kind).
